I help build data products and solve complex problems with data. I am a mix of a data analyst, finance enthusiast and automation engineer. I like to keep things simple, smart and beautiful, and for business that can be the difference between winning and losing.

As an experienced data analyst, I am comfortable working with technologies in the space - Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, APIs, No-Code - you name it.

Data Analysis

I tend to look at the big picture view first, think through how the data could provide meaningful information to the stakeholders and customers, or how it could be misinterpreted or confusing.
I'm also happy to get into the details.

Dashboards & Infographics

Better to see something once, then to read ten times.
Whether it be developing and presenting a specific metric or index, reviewing and shaping multiple datasets to form actionable insights, I will build and maintain dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

Reports

I will design, generate and optimise visually engaging reports on a daily, monthly, annual basis. Not afraid of using big databases to build queries and answer the sort of questions that sound really simple but might be challenging.

Workflow and Process Automation

I can pull together data from a number of sources - databases, APIs, CRMs using ETL & no-code tools, ingesting results into a data warehouse. I can design, write and maintain data pipelines with workflow automation platforms like Zapier, Integromat, Airtable. I am pragmatic and use lean principles to build things, and also know when it's time to go back and improve what's been previously built.

Documentation

I will create and maintain documentation, and ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed of progress. Also will try to extend data literacy and curiosity throughout the whole company.
